Created this new design last week and gave the first one to my friend Debbie for helping me get through teething problems of setting up my blog. A friend in need is a friend indeed.....

Carboot treasures
It was worth braving the freezing wind yesterday to rescue these bits and bobs from a pile of junk on the floor at Derby cattle market. Treasures found were: a red patterned silk scarf, a delicate white silk scarf with blue and grey flower motifs, a 1950's cadbury's tin decorated with travel motifs, a linen placemat with moth motif and a Suzy Smith leopard skin and beaded clutch bag. The silk scarves will be incorporated into future designs, but not until I have completed a cushion using an indian silk for Simone........
